Volunteers (Men & Women)

The Christian Chapel Royal Rangers are still in need of helpers.

The Royal Ranger program is broken up into four age groups as follows:

  • Ranger Kids - Kindergarten thru 2nd grade
  • Discovery Rangers - 3rd thru 5th grade
  • Adventure Rangers - 6th thru 8th grade
  • Expedition Rangers - 9th thru 12th grade
We need helpers for all age groups. Even though the Royal Ranger program is for boys, we can use help from women as well. If you would like to volunteer to help the young boys of the Christian Chapel learn about and follow Christ while also learning important life lessons and skills, please contact Andrew Christie @ andrewchristie1@gmail.com or 757-502-5077.

Homework Assigned 10/14/07

The Ranger Kids have the following homework that was assigned on October 14, 2007. Page # indicates the page of the Ranger Handbook that describes the tasks.
  • Going Places Badge (page 56)
  • Help a Neighbor (page 56)
We'll talk about these assignments at the next Ranger meeting (10/21/07).

Remember that kids can work on any of the badges in their Handbooks in advance. Just make sure the boys notify their commander so that they can get credit.

What is the Royal Rangers?

The Royal Rangers is a great program for young boys to learn about the gospel. Royal Rangers is similar to the Boy Scouts, but with a strong focus on teaching the Christian lifestyle. In addition to studying and learning about the bible, Royal Rangers learn important life skills and lessons. We engage in fun activities, which makes the kids want to stick with the program.

We invite your boys to come join the fun. If you have boys who would be interested in participating, contact Andrew Christie, Senior Commander.

All of the Adventure Rangers are working on their Chess Merit. Cole and Bishop are working on the 1 Corinthians Bible Merit. Once all the Adventure Rangers finish all of their Bible Merits, they will be ready to move on to exciting new things.
